A Texas cop was seen in a video pulling his gun on teens at a pool party. The video, posted on YouTube, has caused the ire of the public prompting the McKinney Police Department to put the officer on administrative leave, according to CNN. The officer's name had not not released.

The now viral video was recorded by a teenage bystander, spanning approximately seven minutes. It shows the chaotic incident where officers tried to control teenagers at a pool party. There was nothing shocking about the fact that the officers tried to keep the teenagers from making chaos but the surprising thing was how one officer handled the situation, seemingly targeting an African American teenager.

The officer threw the teenage girl in a bikini to the ground by shoving down her head on the grass. As two teenage boys approached the officer, he pulled out his gun to chase them away. He quickly returned his attention to the girl, grabbed her arm and re-holstered his gun.

Minutes into the video, the girl is heard shouting, "Call my mama, oh God!"

"On your face!" orders the officer, slamming her head back on the grass as she gasps for air.

The officer then placed his knees on the teenager's back to keep her from escaping. She can be heard crying throughout the ordeal.

The McKinney Police Department's released a statement via Facebook saying that 12 officers responded to a call saying teenagers "who do live in the area or have permission" went to the Craig Ranch North Community Pool and refused to leave.

Police later learned about the footage, prompting an investigation conducted by two McKinney Police Department officers.

"This video has raised concerns that are being investigated," the Department said in the statement.

"It's something we're going to have to look into to determine what we're training as far as the actions of the officers on the scene," Police Chief Greg Conley during a Sunday news conference. "Anytime you get around a lot of people it's a very dynamic situation and tensions can rise very quickly."

The teenager who shot the video, 15, reportedly told BuzzFeed that the event held at the area was supposed to be an "end-of-school celebration" which some teenagers decided to crash.

"I think a bunch of white parents were angry that a bunch of black kids who don't live in the neighborhood were in the pool," the teen told Buzzfeed.

According to reporters Sunday, the girl in the video, 14, was detained but later released to her parents. Since the video was posted on the internet, it has caught the ire of many, with some saying race had been a factor for the violence. It appears that all officers were white and most of the teenagers were African American.

Others also compared how police handled the teenagers and the biker gang shootout at Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, Texas which coincidentally involved white bikers, reports Yahoo.

The pool party incident in Texas isn't the first conflict between officers and African American citizens caught on tape, according to CBS News. In March 2014, University of Virginia Student Martese Johnson's arrest outside a bar in Charlottesville had been bloody, sparking public outcry. In Sept. of the same year, a Marlene Pinnock, 51, was repeatedly punched by an officer, prompting a $1.5 million settlement between Pinnock and the California Highway Patrol.
