OpenJaw, a travel tech firm, has added another feather to their cap when they signed a deal with Cathay Airlines and Hainan Airlines subsequently.

According to the IrishTimes, the company believes they have a stronghold in the Chinese market because of the signed deal. The Irish-based travel tech, which is headquartered in Dublin, works on providing software that allows web sites to run through their service and provide travelers easy access on booking hotels, paying for their plane tickets and anything else that has something to do with their travel itineraries. The deal also included Dragon Air, Cathay Airlines' subsidiary and flies domestically in Mainland China.

Travel Sky, one of China's biggest online travel agencies, has tied with Openjaw, with contracts already finalized and ready for a test run. OpenJaw's Managing Director Kieron Branagan said, "The deals with Cathay and Hainan are likely to deliver huge benefits to the company. These links to Asia should give us a foothold in the world's fastest growing market for travel." Where ancillary is concerned, the combined output of Cathay and Dragon roughly gives around 30 million passengers in a year with 200 destinations worldwide. Branagan believes that their service will also help increase the sales of these airlines, including their tour packages and hotel accommodations.

The alliance between Travel Sky Technology Limited and OpenJaw Technologies will allow passengers to easily access their travel needs and increase the possibility of a more convenient way to shop or pay for online products needed for their travel. According to OpenJaw Tech, the airlines will also have the luxury of taking control of the business by way of changes on their ancillary pricing as well as indicate the availability of such service.

While there are no specific numbers mentioned when it comes to the amount of the contract, Branagan said that there is no need to explore that side of the contract as the deal is based on the number of customers who will deal with the service.

In 2014, OpenJaw has a record of 16.5 million Euros in profit and is expected to rise after the deal was made with several Chinese Airlines.
