'Hyrule Warriors' For Nintendo 3DS Confirmed; New Trailer, Screenshots, Characters For Zelda Spin Off Revealed [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

GearNuke reported that Nintendo confirmed that "Hyrule Warriors" will be added in the Nintendo 3DS console."Hyrule Warriors" is a hack-and-slash spin off based on Nintendo's popular adventure RPG series "The Legend of Zelda." Players can play as their favorite "Legend of Zelda" characters such as Link, Princess Zelda, Impa, Lana, Darunia, Ruto, Midna, Ghirahim, Agitah etc. as they fight hordes of enemies similar to the "Dynasty Warriors" game series.

"Hyruler Warriors" was released on Aug. 14, 2014 in Japan and September in North America, Europe and Australia for the Nintendo Wii U console.

Tech Times was able to post several screenshots of "Hyrule Warriors" for Nintendo 3DS. Here are the screenshots below.



Aside from the gameplay screenshot, two new characters are also added in "Hyrule Warriors" in the Nintendo 3DS. These are Tetra and King Hyrule from "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker" video game.



Polygon reported that gamers can also use Tetra and King Hyrule in the Nintendo Wii U version of the game by simply transferring their game date from the Nintendo 3DS to the Wii U console.

It was noted that "Hyrule Warriros" for the Nintendo 3DS is Nintendo's way of promoting and convincing gaming fans to switch to the 3DS consoles. The game will feature new gameplay details such as stylus-based inputs for switching between characters, new fighters and insane non-stop action.

"Hyrule Warriors" is currently being developed by Omega Force and Team Ninja, two subsidiaries of Koei Tecmo. Nintendo has collaborated with Koei Tecmo to make the game possible as the Koei was famous for developing other games such as " Dynasty Warriors," "Samurai Warriors," "Warriors Orochi," "Dead Or Alive," and "Ninja Gaiden."

Polygon asked Nintendo more information about the game, but did not answer; however, The Verge reportedly claimed that both Nintendo and Koei Tecmo will showcase more game details and possible release date for "Hyrule Warriors" in the Nintendo 3DS at the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo on June 15-18 in the Los Angeles Convention Center.
