3D printing is still relatively new and unexplored but the new HP Sprout PC review suggests that the technology giant could be inching closer to making this exclusive technology more accessible to the masses, by introducing 299 dollar 3D Capture Stage printer.

According to PC World, HP computers is keen to make the technology of 3D imaging more affordable to the masses by introducing an affordably priced Capture Stage 3D printer that will be compatible with the all new Sprout computer.

The printer is small and thanks to its compactness, users will find it extremely easy to accommodate it without blocking too much space on their desks. The printer is packed with applications that will make it easier for artists, as well as everyday people, to use its facilities. Previously, the everyday users access to 3D imaging was restricted to virtual reality products like Oculus Rift, and augmented reality technologies like Microsoft's HoloLens. But with the Capture Stage printer, the reach of 3D printing becomes wider.

Another report on CIO points out that the printer comes with a circular stand, located below the Sprout's RealSense 3D camera. The camera is angled at fifteen degrees and rotates very slowly. This allows it to capture eight images of the object and accordingly develop the 3D visual.

Also, the Sprout PC comes with a touch sensitive pad that can be used in manipulating the image. Using these tools, users will be able to rotate objects, change colors and do a lot of other interesting things. HP has confirmed that the accessory will go on sale, next month onwards. However, there are still certain restrictions. For instance, objects larger than two hundred millimetres will not be accommodated on any side.

With the 3D printer set to be released next month, it looks like HP is quite keen to build a credible line of products that will be able to support its relatively nascent 3D printing plans.

It can be noted that HP has confirmed that it had been experimenting with several projects that would be able to blend virtual and actual reality, which includes 23.6-inch Zvr monitor that will allow users to modify objects very easily.
