Dave Grohl injured his leg during his Sweden concert on Friday, but not only did the Foo Fighters frontman show that he is a great performer, but he showed he is nothing but professional when it comes to his career.

Dave Grohl's leg injury took place during Foo Fighters' concert at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden. Apparently, the 46-year-old tried jumping up on a ramp but missed. He hit the security ramp and got the injury.

Fans were able to take their own videos of a dazed Grohl telling an excited crowd, "Now look! I think I just broke my leg. I think I really broke my leg."

"So, look, I'm going to go to hospital. I'm going to fix my leg. And then I'm going to come back," he continued. "You have my promise, right now, that the Foo Fighters -- we're going to come back -- and finish this show."

As they say, the show must go on, and the musician proved he is the ultimate performer when he opted to go on with the show after seeking medical attention following a fall and an injury on his right leg.

While he was gone, his band mates took over for him and played some Foo Fighters cover tunes, according to E! Online.

At the time, Steve Martin, Grohl's U.S. representative, confirmed the fall to The AP. He added that Grohl was determined to finish the concert.

After getting bandaged up, the "Sonic Highways' visionary went back on stage after getting carried by a stretcher and walked with crutches, according to The Associated Press.

Social media photos showed Grohl singing at the Ullevi stadium playing his guitar and performing, despite his leg appearing bandaged and elevated.

Grohl was such a sport telling the crowd that he would only be getting off stage if a doctor told him to do so.

Following the concert, Foo Fighters' official Twitter account posted an x-ray photo of Grohl's fractured.

"Thank you Gothenburg. That was amazing," the snap was captioned.

Grohl is the founder and front man of the band Foo Fighters. Apart from being Nirvana's former drummer and an icon in rock music, he has produced several documentaries as well.

Dave's effort was definitely appreciated. On the band's Facebook page, thousands of fans posted comments praising Grohl, reported CNN.

"Man, just when you thought Dave Grohl couldn't be any more awesome," according to one commenter.

While another wrote, "I don't trust anybody who doesn't respect Dave Grohl."

Grohl isn't the only musician to have continued a show after breaking a foot. Florence Welch of "Florence and the Machine" broke her foot at Coachella last month but still continued the show.
