So, it's really progressed. Not just improved, but truly improved.

"He's progressed. He's really progressed," Kelly said of his new quarterback after the first day of minicamp. "I have seen improvement from Tim from the day we got him in terms of his knowledge of what we're doing, getting used to the way we do things."

Kelly was all praises to Tebow when asked about his ability to adapt to a new system and his extraordinary learning curve.

"What we do is different from anything he's done in the past," the coach added, referring to Tebow's previous stints as a Bronco, Jet, and Patriot. "But each week you've seen an incremental bump and then some."

The 51-year-old head coach also said that he is expecting to see Tebow and the things that he would bring to the table once the team's formal training camp starts on August.

There is no doubt that the former Florida Gators standout will continue to fight for a spot in Kelly's roster no matter what. He said that he felt as good as ever and he thinks that his new throwing mechanics had given him enough confidence and added so much accuracy in his game, as reported by Newsday.

"I've gotten so many thousands and thousands of reps, it's so ingrained," Tebow said, describing the time he spent with quarterback coach Tom House during his time away from the NFL. "It's muscle memory."

Press of Atlantic City also reported that Tebow, in one of the team's scrimmages on Tuesday, "flipped a shovel pass" from a shotgun position to the hands of rookie wideout Nelson Agholor. The greenhorn took it all the way 15 yards to the end zone for a touchdown amidst cheers from fellow players.

Apart from that, Tebow was also showing his bizarre athleticism for a signal caller, spinning away from sackers, running and evading defenders, and rushing his way for significant yardage, which is something that continues to impress his stickler coach.

Everything seemed becoming more flawless with each passing snap and witnesses have said that if Tebow continues to play this way, he may even end up more valuable than what he thinks he is in the mind of Kelly.

"Sometimes you're just out there being a football player, I guess," he simply said with a smile.
