After failing to defend his French Open title this year, tennis ace Rafael Nadal already has his sights set on the next Grand Slam at Wiimbledon. While participating at the Aegon Championship at Queen's Club in London, Nadal took the opportunity to show-off some of his skills with the tennis ball. However, this time he juggled the ball with his feet and not with a racquet.

The former world number 1 spent some time acting like a footballer while on the practice courts at Queen's. He dropped his tennis racquet and decided to juggle a tennis ball with his feet. The video was shared by Eurosport and Nadal could be seen kicking the tennis ball in the air while he's standing in a court strewn with scattered balls.

Currently ranked 10th in the world, the Spanish player has not been having a great year on the ATP tour. He crashed out of Roland Garros in the hands of Novak Djokovic in the quarter-finals. This meant that he failed to defend his title and secure a tenth French Open crown. While the "King of Clay" struggled in this year's clay season, he needs to regroup and focus on his grass court game ahead of Monday's Wimbledon opening.

The tournament at Queen's didn't prove to be promising as he crashed out of the first round to Ukraine's Alexandr Dolgopolov. He lost in straight sets 6-3 6-7 6-4. Nevertheless, The Guardian reports that Nadal is not letting the setback dampen his mood for Wimbledon. In fact, he feels that he's improving.

"This week I lost an opportunity but my feeling, my thoughts, are no different today than yesterday. I am playing better than before and enjoying my tennis more on court than before. I will keep going, keep practising hard. I hope to be ready to play well at Wimbledon," he said.

His loss came with two very special people in the audience at Queen's. Juan Carlos, the former King of Spain was in attendance and so was Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho. Nadal is a huge Real Madrid fan and he has built a strong friendship with Mourinho during the latter's time at the helm of the Spanish team.

If things don't pan out for Nadal on the tennis courts, perhaps with a bit of wishful thinking, his pal Mourinho will spot his skills while kicking up balls. While the possibility of a professional football career has long gone, the tennis legend still keeps the beautiful game close to his heart. After all, his uncle Miguel Angel Nadal had once played for the Spanish national team.
