There is only one thing that can defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr.: duct tape in the very able hands of Rihanna.

During last Sunday's BET Awards, Rihanna was seen brandishing a gray arm sling that eventually was identified as duct tape, E! Online reports that the "Umbrella" singer took the initiative to shut Floyd Mayweather Jr., as well as tie his hands together. The undefeated boxer obviously played along, but fans are taking it to Twitter as to why she did it, with some even joking that she brought it to kidnap hip-hop model and former Chris Brown flame, Karrueche.

Aside from the duct tape-toting, Rihanna had the entire Twittersphere abuzz after she shared a trailer for her newest single, "Bitch Better Have My Money." The clip shows the singer placing a blonde girl inside a trunk without breaking a sweat inside an elevator, and manages to take her pet Pomeranian with her. The clip eneded with the initials BBHMM, which is something that she has been hyping up for the past few days. Billboard announced that the video will be set to release on July 2 via Tidal, something Madonna did with her track "Bitch, I'm Madonna."

People are still talking as to why she did it, and Telegraph UK did mention that fans thought it spiced things up for the awards show. However, after the short clip, t can be acknowledged that what she did to Mayweather Jr. is a publicity stunt to promote her video, showing that she is ready to take everyone hostage. Good thing too, that Mayweather Jr. happily played along, or else things could have made a turn for the worse.

It still isn't clear as to how Rihanna coerced the boxer into taping over his mouth in front of millions of viewers. Fans will have to wait a little longer to find out if Mayweather Jr. will be a guest on "Bitch Better Have My Money" when it is released July 2.
