Visceral's development of the new "Star Wars" game is created in the likelihood of "Uncharted."

According to Stuff.co, Nolan North, the voice actor of "Uncharted" confirmed that there will be similarities between the new "Star Wars" game and the "Uncharted" Series. In an announcement made by Electronics Art Inc. in April 2014, they revealed the new  Visceral's "Star Wars" game alongside Amy Hennig's eventual joining the Visceral team. After spearheading the" Uncharted" Series of Naughty Dogs, Hennig left the studio that resulted in 8 months of "Uncharted" work going to waste.

In an interview with Nolan North, which was also published in the Gaming Bolt, he assured the fans that if they are fond of the works of Amy Hennig, they will also love the new "Star Wars" game developed by Visceral. Since Hennig's transfer to EA, she's tasked of reliving the "Star Wars" franchise in the similarity of the "Uncharted Series." When asked about how to reboot a "Star Wars" franchise, Nolan saw two ways to handle that, first, to get Amy Hennig on board and work on an existing "Star Wars" game that is currently being developed by Visceral or, that Visceral is actually rebooting a current "Star Wars" game franchise.

Hennig's departure from Naughty Dog sparked controversies that both parties downplayed. Either way, if Hennig is actually working on the "Star Wars" game, it will be a given that the series will run under the shadow of "Uncharted," which she started while she was still connected with Naughty Dog.

In a separate post by Stuff, Disney indeed closed their gaming subsidiary Lucas Arts and has cancelled then the creation of "Star Wars: First Assault" and "Star Wars 1313." While the new "Star Wars" game is said to be totally different from the defunct "Star Wars 1313," Nolan confirms that it will be "along the same lines."

"Star Wars 1313" was first introduced in 2012 but later cancelled after Disney acquired "Star Wars" license and the timing of the Lucas Arts being shut down by  Disney.
