With the movies projected success, all eyes are on how the cast thrilled the audience with a film packed with ab action. And to give you a closer look, here are insider stories on how the actors were able to achieve their stunning racks.

Channing Tatum (Magic Mike)

Magic Mike is not Magic Mike without its core man-Channing Tatum. Spontaneous and versatile acting aside, this Hollywood stud was able to capture millions of fans because of his moves, looks, and body. But how was he able to achieve that body? The secret: a strict diet, mixed with disciplined workout.

In an interview with Esquire, the 34-year-old actor dined with the interviewer. On the table, the interviewer had crabs, while Tatum ate one chicken breast, downed with a glass of water.

"I would like a beer. I would like to have some crab. I love eating. But this is what I'm doing right now," he said.

Joe Manganiello (Big D- Richie)

With this tall, dark, and handsome hunk, attaining an impressive body didn't come easy. For him, the secret is all about keeping and sticking to your mindset.

His career almost went down the toilet when at one point, he drank a bottle of whiskey per day and was thrown out for not being able to pay his rent, according to Men's Health.

But now, the "True Blood" actor published his own book, "Evolution: The Cutting Edge Guide to Breaking Down Mental Walls and Building the Body You've Always Wanted" and in there, he shared how he used his failures as his motivation for success.

Matt Bomer (Ken)

As part of their preparation for the movie, the entire cast was in a dairy-free, gluten-free, protein-focused diet. At that time, Matt Bomer lost 35 pounds the HBO original movie The Normal Heart. To help him get his Magic Mike body, he sought the help of Matthew McConaughey who underwent the same instance during his Dallas Buyers Club days.

"When we hadn't had any carbohydrates in a couple of months, and we were starting to fall out in a take we could at least find solace in each other," Bomer recalled in an interview with Nightline.
