In the court documents, the 77-year-old comedian confessed to offering a type of sedative called Quaaludes to at least one young woman and "other people" whom he intended to have sex with.

The comedian's lawyers have objected to the papers' release, stating that they were personal information and would cause embarrassment for their client. However, the AP went ahead to court to compel the release of the documents containing the admission.

The papers containing Bill Cosby's admission came from a sexual abuse lawsuit filed by former Temple University employee Andrea Constand. Cosby was once closely associated with the Philadelphia college, according to the BBC.

During the deposition containing Bill Cosby's admission, "The Cosby Show" star went on further to say that he used gave three half-pills of Benadryl to Constand. Two other women who came to testify on behalf of Constand also said Cosby gave them Quaaludes with their consent.

That sexual abuse lawsuit filed by Constand was settled in 2006.

So exactly how many women did Cosby have sex with by using drugs?

More than two dozen women have accused Cosby of sexual misconduct. The women also alleged that they have been drugged and raped in some incidents more than four decades ago.

No criminally charges were filed against Cosby. Most of the accusations have reportedly been barred due to statutes of limitations, which limit the length of time that legal actions can be taken after a crime has been committed.

Gloria Allred is a civil rights attorney representing 17 of the more than 40 women who have charged Cosby in the documents stating the Bill Cosby admission late last year.

Allred said she is planning on using the 2005 Bill Cosby admission against the comedian himself in other court cases, reported The Inquisitr.

The Associated Press have spoken with Allred on Monday, who said that the documents with the admission is a confirmation of what the victims have said against the comedian.

In an Inquisitr report, news of the 2005 Bill Cosby admission came days after prosecutors in Atlantic City decided not to file criminal charges against Cosby with regard to complaints filed by former "Cosby Show" actress Lili Bernard, who is also Allred's client.
