Fans of "Mass Effect" remain faithful to the game, however, some of them question its finale as some were left disappointed at "Mass Effect 3's" sad ending.

According to Attack of the Fan Boy, a Twitter user and an avid fan of the game inquired whether the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will have a better ending, to which, Chris Wynn, Senior Development Director of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" answered "we will do what we can." While there is no concrete promise that the ending will be satisfying, the fact that they were acknowledged give fans the hope of a better ending, said reports.

"Mass Effect 3's" ending, after the game's trilogy, did not meet its fans' expectation of a rather subtle and happier conclusion. When the game was launched and fans started playing in 2007, they expected a much more interesting ending when the game made its finale in 2012. It is said that being able to play and stay faithful that long in the game thus calls for a better and sweet ending at least. Gamers cannot be pacified with any continual trilogy as BioWare already announced Commander Shepard's final reign. With "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" release, fans are aware that this is not a series of the "Mass Effect 3" as the war occurs in a different space.

Although fans expect to have a happy ending in the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" game, it is reportedly hard to say as they may be left with a continual journey, even requiring them to purchase the next game.

In an article featured in Gaming Bolt, the reason why the "Mass Effect 3's" sad ending was so criticized is because it is definitely the conclusion of every single hour played, and days of endless struggle to come through with the game as fans expected a happier ending.

In another post by Gaming Bolt, the reveal trailer of the game "Mass Effect: Andromeda" did not feature the main character role, instead Bioware blog said, "the character we saw in the trailer is not exactly the person we will be playing with."
