The fan funded game "Star Citizen" is drawing flak after series of delays plagued the release of its module.

According to Attack of the Fan Boy, the game, which is greatly followed by fans and the crowd, has gained popularity because of its massive support and funding from its users; however, this week proved to be a week of struggle for "Star Citizen" primarily because of the delay in releasing its "first person shooter" module. With an $84 million stashed funding straight from its followers, fans expected more than a series of delays.

"Star Citizen" is reportedly created in a very intricate way, with every aspect of the game being sectioned into several modules, significantly challenging its players to combine everything to create a simulator.

The video game "Star Citizen" has the Hangar and Dog Fighting modules, giving players very limited resources for combat. Due this year is a three series module that includes the "first episode of the single player campaign," FPS one and the planetary social module. The three new modules for the "Star Citizen" also drew complaints as their release date have not been confirmed, and that the FPS one has encountered technical problems during the test.

Things went downhill when "Star Citizen's" Executive Producer Alex Mayberry stepped down and joined Cloud Imerium. Mayberry left his position and worked along with the developer of "Star Citizen" after working his talents with Blizzard for 10 years. His departure was unwelcome because of the rapport he had created with the game and suddenly leaving it amidst much needed hand in the rest of the  "Star Citizen's" development. "Star Citizen" continues to flourish under the funding of the crowd and its fans, and they can't help but worry about  the  future of the game.

In a blog post, the chairman has issued a statement saying "Star Citizen" is being developed in different areas of modules and other areas such as Squadron 42 is being worked on before its scheduled release. The work load is being strategically assigned amidst the stalled development of the FPS.
