While the trailers for superhero movies "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "X-Men: Apocalypse" at the Hall H delighted fans, it was really when director Tim Miller and actor Ryan Reynolds debuted the "Deadpool" trailer that got die-hard fans in a craze.

Apart from the standing ovation that the "Deadpool" trailer received over the weekend, it also got an encore demand.

As Reynolds introduced the panel and before the "Deadpool" trailer was released, Reynolds addressed the audience, saying something about another trailer leaked earlier a year ago.

"One year ago, some a-hole leaked that footage. You guys made the studio do this; you bent their arms behind their backs. (Deadpool) inhabits a space in the comic universe that no one else will inhabit," he said. "It's an absolute miracle that a studio let us make Deadpool-let alone a rated-R Deadpool."

"(Deadpool) is everything we loved about the comics. It's the most faithful adaptation of a super suit to a comic movie ever, (doing) the best he can to annoy everyone around him 24/7," Reynolds later added.

Meanwhile, Director Tim Miller seconded Ryan's statement saying that "the world was ready for something new."

On May 29, Reynolds reportedly tweeted that the film officially finished production. Not long after, news that the "Deadpool" is to be the first rated R superhero film came out since many are saying that there would be no other way to stay true to the character without allowing for expletives and graphic violence.

"Deadpool is hard R. It's graphic. Nothing is taboo. You either commit to a truly outrageous boundary-pushing kind of movie or you don't," said Producer Simon Kerg.

While the "Deadpool" trailer was much welcomed, Reynolds hadn't forgotten to mention his role as DC superhero Green Lantern during his speech, saying that the film had been a "poorly received movie" and "not proper" comic book fare.

The "Deadpool" trailer also made a wink to Ryan's character as Green Lantern when the comic book character said, "Just promise me you won't make the supersuit animated or green."

"Deadpool" has reportedly become a passion project for Ryan Reynolds after the project had much postponements and delays. Development for "Deadpool" originally began in 2004. It wasn't until a decade later when Ryan got hitched to "Green Lantern" co-star Blake Lively and had a child that "Deadpool" eventually received the production green light, reported The Inquisitr.

After the "Deadpool" trailer was shown to the Comic-Con audience, it received a thunderous standing ovation and chants of "Show it again!"

Even "X-Men" star Nicholas Hoult said grinning, "I can't concentrate because I'm still excited about the Deadpool trailer."

The "Deadpool" trailer was eventually given encore as requested by fans, according to The Inquisitr.

Much more to be excited about is a tweet from Reynolds saying that an online trailer will be available within the next three weeks.

Scripted by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick of "Zombieland" and starring Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano, Ed Skrein, and Brianna Hildebrand, "Deadpool" will be released on February 12, 2016, according to Web site screenrant.com.
