American magazine Vanity Fair selects a weekly "car tunes" Best Song of the Week, as expected American artists dominated the list like Eminem, Julia Holter, and Gwen Stefani but the Asian mega-girl group bagged the spot, Soompi reported.

According to Vanity Fair, "Girls' Generation" song "Party" was selected for being "wildly catchy". The Korean group's music video has gone viral since its recent release just weeks ago in July 7, now reaching more than a whopping 11 million Youtube views.

"Party" is a beachy, lively, electro-pop song whose music video shows girls enjoying a summer beach party, which was shot on location in Thailand.

But the Korean pop sensation "Girls' Generation" had started making waves long before. In 2013, the girl group surprised the music scene bagging the coveted Youtube Music Awards "Video of the Year" for their song "I got a Boy". The Asian act was going against giant personalities like Justin Bieber, One Direction, and Lady Gaga.

During an interview with Billboard, Tiffany a member of the K-pop shared her excitement over their win, "It was huge competition. This was totally unexpected and exciting and extremely humbling at the same time. Just to be a part of that big group of huge artists was a big treat."

"Girls' Generation" is set to star in their own reality TV show called "Channel Girls' Generation". It will feature the other side of the eight young girls where fans can expect to get to know them even better, Soompi reported.
