"Bachelorette" Kaitlyn Bristowe - At the most recent episode of "The Bachelorette," Kaitlyn Bristowe has praised Ben Higgins for having the qualities of a perfect husband, yet she sent him home.

Now, a report from OK! Magazine says that Kaitlyn may have just been forced to send Ben home for the Shawn-Nick rivalry drama to continue. After all, this could mean ratings.

"She [Kaitlyn] wasn't feeling a long-term connection with [the runner-up] and felt like she was leading him on. But producers loved the idea of the Shawn-Nick rivalry and wanted to play it out to the end....," according to a source.

"She still feels terrible about it....If she had to do it all over again, she would have insisted on sending [the runner up] home earlier," the source added of "Bachelorette" Kaitlyn Bristowe's decision to send Ben home.

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, "Bachelorette" Kaitlyn Bristowe said the following about Ben:

"I knew what I had to do and that I had to follow my heart, but the thought of sending Ben home broke my heart. Ben was always nothing but sweet, genuine and open with me. I will forever be grateful I got to meet him and that he was a part of this journey with me. It's not that what I had with Ben wasn't real or didn't mean anything to me, but I had to make a choice of how I was going to move forward....It crushed me to say goodbye [to Ben] but all I could do was trust my heart in that moment."

Meanwhile, ET went on the set of "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All," where suitors of Kaitlyn Bristowe are on a reunion special where they get the chance to confront one another, or at least clear the air about past issues.

"I wanted to go [into The Men Tell All] and address the situation, and be like, 'Yes that hurt, and that's not okay,'" Bristowe told ET.

According to ET, Monday's episode will have host Chris Harrison addressing the cyber-bullying and social media slut-shaming that "Bachelorette" Kaitlyn Bristowe endured over the past few months after she admitted that she slept with Nick Viall during a date.

"Maybe a little good will come of this because the cyber-bullying, and the hate -- that crap has got to stop," said the host. "Kaitlyn reads these comments, and she's a human being."

While filming "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All," ET saw "Bachelorette" Kaitlyn Bristowe getting overwhelmed with the support she has gotten from her suitors. They reportedly gave the brunette beauty a standing ovation and pledge against cyber-bullies,. Bristowe burst into tears.

"Bachelorette" Kaitlyn Bristowe is still tight-lipped about whether she has already found love or not at the end of the show.

"I don't know if other people say that in other seasons like, 'Yes I found love.' I'm just like, 'I'm really happy,' and that's the story I'm sticking to," she said.

As for Ben Higgins, getting sent home was probably destined for him. Apparently, he has become the new Bachelor next season, according to The Inquisitr.

"The Bachelorette" airs Mondays, 8 p.m. on ABC.
