Italian Serie A club Juventus has reportedly agreed to send Chilean playmaker Arturo Vidal to Bayern Munich with a transfer fee of £25.9 million, according to multiple sources.

"Arturo Vidal is joining Bayern Munich after his club, Juventus, agreed a €37m (£25.9m) fee for the midfielder with a further £2.1m in add-ons. The Chilean midfielder has agreed a four-year deal worth £90,000 a week and will leave Turin after four years and four Serie A titles," via the Guardian.

Vidal, who served as the orchestrator for Bayer Leverkusen from 2007 to 2011, is set to Bundes Liga, this time playing for perennial powerhouse Bayern Munich.

With Frank Ribbery continued to struggle with his fitness along with the departure of Bastian Schweinsteiger to Manchester United, Bayern Munich made a quick move to snag Vidal, who is coming off a stint with Juventus at the UEFA Champions League final.

"The German champions have been looking for a long-term replacement for Franck Ribéry, who has been struggling with injuries over the past 18 months, and concluded a deal for Vidal on Monday after a week of negotiations."

Vidal, who recorded 8 goals in 45 appearances with Turin-based football club during the 2014-15 season, is scheduled to take a medical in Munich with the official announcement expected to happen at the end of the week.

Juventus meanwhile also has several targets on the Bayern Munich roster, notably midfielder Mario Gotze. Rumors are flying that the UEFA Champions League runner-up is very interested in acquiring the 23-year old Gotze.

Gotze, who scored the game-winning goal to give Germany the title at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, took a step back in minutes played per contest as manager Pep Guardiola continues to find a more productive lineup for the team.

Guardiola shot down the rumors, stressing that he's expected Gotze to begin training camp with Bayern Munich for next season's campaign.

"He's a top player, one of my team's players," he told reporters on Sunday. In my mind, he will be available throughout the season which is about to start," according to Guardiola via Goal.com
