New updates and possible rumors for "Arrow" season 4 have been revealed regarding new characters and the death of another one within the show.

As seen on the photo, both Oliver and Felicity are happy together after the events of season 3, in which, Oliver has defeated Ra's Al Gul (Matt Nable) and stopped the League of Assassins from dispersing the alpha-omega bio weapon in Starling City.

With Oliver now happy and contended leaves Starling at the hands of The Queen (Will Holland), John Diggle (David Ramsey) and Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). But in season 4, Oliver will face his greatest challenge yet as he faces a new threat named Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough).

Moviepilot speculated that Damien will likely retaliate against Oliver for the attempt of his life during his days as member of the League and doing so by killing Felicity Smoak, leaving Oliver heartbroken and out for revenge.

Den of Geek further reports that new cast members are added to play Mister Terrific and Anarky in the show as comedian Echo Kellum will play Curtis Holt and "The Dead Zone" star Alexander Calvert will take on Anarky.

In other news, several new rumors are making rounds that three characters will be added in "Arrow" season 4.

According to MovieWeb, "Arrow" executive producer Wendy Mericle revealed that he wanted John Constantine to join the show after NBC series cancelled, due to low TV ratings. Amell was the first person to offer Matt Ryan's character to be included in the show as he believes that John will offer much more in the series.

The website further adds that Amell had discussions with NBC to have a crossover episode in "Constantine" which will pave the way for John to show up on "Arrow" TV series.

Screenrant reports that Amell revealed that season 4's theme will likely deal with the elements of magic and mysticism and will likely play out on the flashback scenes within the show. Perhaps there is still hope that Constantine will show up in the series, and would probably help Oliver out in both flashbacks and present time.

Aside from John Constantine, CarteMatt.com reportedly claimed that Jessica De Gouw's character Helena Bertinelli, a.k.a. The Huntress, will return to the show as TV writer Marc Guggenheim teased a new idea for an episode for Huntress in season 4 during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Lastly, Fashion&Style reportedly claimed that Thea Queen could become a villain in the show and takes on the new identity as this versions Red Hood.

The website adds that the subplot of season 4 will deal with Thea's changes after being resurrected from the Lazarus Pit, as comic book fans know that the person's mind and soul will slowly be corrupted after emerging from the pit.

The Red Hood mantle has been a synonymous to the Batman mythos and it is unknown yet whether the showrunners will go through with it.

"Arrow" season 4 will premiere on Oct. 7, 2015 on the CW Network.
