Bristol Palin has revealed her first selfie with her new unborn baby. The daughter of former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is having her second child, and it appears she is set on documenting her milestones on Instagram.

The selfie comes after the Wasilla, Alaska, native's celebration of two major moments in her life. Bristol took a selfie after she celebrated her sixth year at her job last week, according to Us Magazine.

The Instagram snapshot was taken at the dermatology office where the 24-year-old works as a medical assistant. Giving fans a glimpse at her growing pregnant belly, Bristol wore a white blouse and a long coat in the photo, which was captioned, "Celebrated six years working for the best people I know.. This place is my home (I actually have a job #shocker)."

In June, Palin announced and confirmed her second pregnancy and has since spent most of her time defending it.

"I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you. But please respect Tripp's and my privacy during this time," she wrote in a blog post on June 25. "I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy."

Bristol Palin's pregnancy news came just weeks after the cancellation of her wedding to Marine Dakota Meyer on Memorial Day weekend. Palin canceled the wedding a week before she was to walk down the aisle.

While the Bristol Palin bump photo proves once and for all that the 24-year-old is indeed pregnant, it remains unclear who the father of the child is. According to The Inquisitr, most people assume Meyer to be the father. However, Palin has noy confirmed anything yet. Dakota Meyer has also chosen not to speak about Palin's pregnancy in public, and neither has he confirmed that he is the father.

In another blog post, Palin once again fired back at critics, reported People.

"This pregnancy was actually planned. Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself," she wrote. "Things didn't go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on."

The Bristol Palin bump selfie does not show the new mom as thrilled as new moms usually are, described Celebuzz. She was pouting her lips in the photo, and the publication added that there was not a hint of a smile.

Palin's first child is Tripp, 6, her son with Levi Johnston, another ex-fiance.
