According to 24/7 Wall St, the iPhone 7 may not stray far ahead of the iPhone 6 and their features may show minimal difference, nevertheless, consumers are bound to purchase the latest version regardless of its upgrade scale. So what is there for Apple to rush about? It is said that it must have been Samsung releasing its Galaxy S6 much later than the release of the iPhone 6.

In anticipation of a massive demand for the Apple product, Apple Inc's manufacturer Foxconn made sure they have done all the necessary pre-ordering of materials in order to comply with the demand of the units. According to Network World, the previous time Apple ordered units from Foxconn reached more or less 70 to 80 million units, while this time around, they expect to produce approximately 85 million units to cover the projected demand of the product.

The new iPhone 7 is rumored to have a 7.1mm thickness, a slightly thicker by 0.2mm from the current iPhone 6. The thicker version is said to be an adaptation to the iPhone 7 features of Force Touch Technology. The iPhone 7 will primarily be longer and wider as opposed to the iPhone 6, but it will significantly show a thicker appearance.
