'Tekken 7' PS4 Release Date Hinted By Katsuhiro Harada; New Game Costumes Streamed! [VIDEO]

According to KpopStarz, "Tekken" creator Katsuhiro Harada hinted that "Tekken 7" will be released on the PS4 and Xbox consoles in just a few months, as Bandai Namco and the Tekken team developers are working on polishing the game for the arcades, and will likely launch the console version right after the arcade version.

It has been heavily speculated that "Tekken 7" will be out on August this year, but since Harada specified that the game will be ready for the public in just a few months, it might not happen in the mentioned date.

The Latino Post further adds that Harada and Bandai Namco are currently reviewing several feedbacks from the gaming fans when they played "Tekken 7" during the EVO 2015 event last week. Each feedback from them presents an opportunity for the team to develope "Tekken 7" even further taking notes of some changes and needed improvements.

Bandai Namco also hinted that an online multiplayer feature will b added in "Tekken 7" as Harada notes that it could happen if there is a high demand from it.

The online feature will likely depend on the arcade operators as to whether they want to invest on the idea and wanted to join the local test run.

KpopStarz furthe adds that there will be six new characters to complete "Tekken 7's" initial roster as Bandai Namco teased that they could still add more fighters to the seventh installment anytime soon.

In other news, Siliconera reports that Bandai Namco began streaming a new trailer for "Tekken 7" that features every female character with new costumes.


AnimeNewsNetwork reports that the new costumes were based on the Japanese game series "IDOLM@STERS" as Bandai Namco celebrates both Tekken's 20th anniversary and the IDOLM@STERS 10th anniversary.

"Tekken 7" will feature a huge roster of fighters such as Jin, Kazuya, Heihachi, Steve Fox, Hwoarang, Asuka, Lili, Xiayu, Nina, Yoshimitsu, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix and many more. There are also new faces that making their debut within game like Claudio, Katalina, Jose Rizal, Shaheen, Lucky Chloe, Gigas and Kazumi Mishima.
