Kit Harington, the actor portraying Jon Snow in the HBO hit show "Game of Thrones," was spotted hanging out with GoT cast members in Belfast, where production for the next season is taking place.

This has furthered fans' speculations that their beloved character Jon Snow lives in Season 6.

Many fans all over the world are still hoping that Jon Snow lives in the next season of GoT despite his brutal "death" in Season 5, and fans' hopes were sparked Tuesday following the photo posted by fan site Watchers on the Wall.

One of the images showed Harrington smoking a cigarette with the GoT cast. Another photo showed the 28-year-old actor rocking his character's long locks while walking through an airport in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Monday night, according to The Inquisitr.

The photos that sparked rumors that Jon Snow lives in the next season were taken by a member of the popular fan forum. Luckily, the fan was on the same flight as Harington. The fan also reported seeing Tom Wlaschiha, who plays Jaqen H'gar, the faceless assassin, according to TIME.

Since rumors were sparked that Jon Snow lives in the next season, several media outlets have tried cross-referencing the images, one of which is Vanity Fair.

"The return of Jon Snow is turning into the worst-kept secret in TV history," said the report. "Rest assured, these are taken in the Belfast airport." The media website also asked readers to check this other photo for comparison.

In recent days, reports have surfaced that Kit Harington and Eddison Tollet were in the Belfast City Center. It may be too soon to cheer "Jon Snow Lives" since Kit could have simply visited pals on the show or that he was needed for flashback scenes or for filming the dead body of Snow.

In the shocking Season 5 finale of "Game of Thrones," Snow was left in a bloody pool after Night's Watch members stabbed him to death. Despite this harrowing scene, fans kept a lookout for clues and have speculated theories on how Jon Snow lives and returns in the next season.

One theory is the possibility that Melisandre, the red woman who turned up in Castle Black before Snow's death, could use the Lord of Light's powers to bring back Jon from the dead.

Another theory is that Jon Snow lives by becoming a wight, joining the army of the White Walkers.

At the Comic-Con panel discussion earlier this month, cast members were reported to have been shady when asked about Snow's death. They dodged questions by making jokes during the audience Q&A, reported ET Online.

As for Harrington, he said his character is dead with no hopes of  returning to the show. The show's creators agreed, while co-star Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenarys, the Mother of Dragons, taught otherwise and said that there is a 50/50 chance for Jon Snow to live. Another co-star, however, Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, thinks he would not.

Fans just refuse to settle for death though, especially when Harrington was spotted at the Wimbledon tennis championship several weeks ago sporting Snow's trademark shoulder-length hair.

While Harington's involvement has not been officially announced, it is becoming more and more obvious that he may be reprising his role as Jon Snow, but in what capacity is still to be seen. His Belfast appearance may not prove anything conclusive as to whether Jon Snow lives in the upcoming season, but in the words of "A Song of Ice and Fire" books author George R. R. Martin, "If there's one thing we know in A Song of Ice and Fire is that death is not necessarily permanent."
