Lily Rabe's new role in "American Horror Story: Hotel" is quite far from her previous characters as Nora Montgomery, Sister Mary Eunice, and Misty Day in the first four seasons of the show.

Entertainment Weekly reported that Lily Rabe is set to play a serial killer on "American Horror Story: Hotel." The killer will reportedly take refuge in the hotel as she spends time out of jail on the run.

Rabe has established her stardom in the show as she played Nora Montgomery in the first season, "American Horror Story: Murder House," and Sister Mary Eunice McKee in "American Horror Story: Asylum" and "American Horror Story: Freak Show." In "American Horror Story: Coven," she portrayed good witch, Misty Day. She is therefore qualified to play the show's newest villains.

Rabe is currently one of the casts in ABC's "The Whispers."

The cast for the show's new season, "Hotel," is shaping up to become an impressive group with old and new stars, as creators have sworn to redefine the show.

Among the veterans who joined the fifth season is Ryan Murphy and Emma Roberts, who would return as soon as her role in "Scream Queens'" premiere season is finished, according to The Inquisitr.

"She's still going to do a couple episodes of 'Horror Story' at the end, I think. She comes at the end," Murphy said. "She comes and she has a great thing with Evan Peters at the end."

"American Horror Story: Hotel" is set to premiere on FX in October, also starring Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates, Chloe Sevigny, Cheyenne Jackson, Angela Bassett and Wes Bentley, according to TV Guide.
