There's more to Serena Williams than high-caliber tennis. The world no. 1 is also a fashion mogul and she recently debuted her Signature Statement Collection of casual tops on the HSN shopping network.

Williams posted photos and a video of her HSN-exclusive collection on Instagram, targeting buyers looking for casual chick apparel and affordable yet elegant daily wear. The line features a convertible poncho top with scarf that comes in different colors plus a few items from her New York Fashion Week show.

This isn't the first time that the 33-year-old has gone into fashion marketing. In 2009, she released her first signature collection with HSN featuring handbags and jewelry. She also has a $40 million dollar deal with Nike and a previous line with Puma.

It's no surprise then that Williams was recently included in the 20 most marketable sport stars list. She and world no. 2 Maria Sharapova made it to the elite list with Williams sitting on the 20th spot. Other recognized athletes include players on the men's side namely Roger Federer who takes the top spot, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, and Kei Nishikori.

Next month, Williams will lead the women's field at Flushing Meadows for the 2015 US Open Championships. She's on the verge of becoming the first player to win all four major grand slams in a year since Steffi Graf's triumph in 1988. The American will enter the US Open with 21 grand slams under her belt and if she wins, she will tie Graf for the most Grand Slam wins in the Open Era and soar above Chris Evert for the most number of US Open singles titles.

Williams, however, will face a number of contenders including former US Open Champion Sharapova, two-time Wimbledon Champion Petra Kvitova, and former world no. 1 and twice US Open finalist Victoria Azarenka who's looking for a good run with coach Wim Fissette. Other strong contenders include former finalists Jelena Jankovic and Caroline Wozniacki who can shake the draw in the second week.

Meanwhile, China's Peng Shuai will not play in the Championships. The 29-year-old, who was a finalist in 2014, withdrew from the tournament due to a back injury.
