The latest update for the Moto X 1st generation has been momentarily suspended, according to att Esupport. The AT&T carrier company has announced the suspension of the Android 5.1 Lollipop update due to some issues that were still present in the update.

However, the carrier company has assured that they are giving their best to present the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the Moto X 1st generation users as soon as possible.

At the official webpage of AT&T, the alleged company has apologized for the inconvenience, but the company has not specifically shared in which section the bug or issue was detected, as stated in the AndoidPolice. The OTA rollout for the Android 5.1 Lollipop was accidentally released on July 18 for a short while, and those who downloaded and installed the update might be a victim of the firmware fault.

The Android 5.1 Lollipop update for Moto X 1st generation will get change in the following softwares - the Motorola Assist, the Migrate option along with the NFC update, the Notification update , the Touchless Control and the MotoCare software.

Once the Android 5.1 Lollipop version is ready to roll out, user will get the alert in the notification bar; however, those who will miss the update can manually download and install it.

The installation process goes as follow:

Users will have to drag down the notification panel with two fingers and then press settings. Navigate towards the "About Phone" then click the "System Updates." A message will pop up showing the availability of the new update then users have to tap the download button, and when the full version of the software finishes downloading, just tap install.

The installation file size is 152MB and users can directly install the firmware update on the phone, and after installatio, it will automatically restart. Afterwards it will be upgraded with the 212.44.26.ghost_att.ATT.en.US. update. Users will also be able to verify the update by tapping the "Software Information" in the "About Phone" menu, as per IDigital Times.
