Gamerant further adds that Hitoshi Sakamoto, one of "Final Fantasy 12's" original composer, was also at the event and confirmed that the game will have a remake very soon. The website noted that "Final Fantasy 12" remake could actually be just another "remastered" edition of the title, similar to the "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" found in PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and the PS Vita.

VG 24/7 noted that the "Final Fantasy 12" is one of the "Final Fantasy" titles that has not yet received a re-released on the modern game consoles and added that gaming fans will not that be surprised once Square Enix announced "FFXII" at Gamescom 2015 this week.

They are also working on "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" and "Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII" for the PC platform this year.

Square Enix has a lot on its plate this year and for the coming days ahead, will they be able to deliver "Final Fantasy 12" to the new generation of gaming consoles soon?

PlayStationLifeStyle reportedly claimed that "Final Fantasy 12" remake could be based of the International version of the game as its foundation.

The website further adds that some changes could be from game graphics having a HD treatment or an improved Zodiac system in which players can level up and unlock new skills, magic and weapons slots to each character.

"Final Fantasy 12" was released back in March 2006 for PlayStation 2 console and it had a "International: Zodiac Job System" in February 2007.

The game held a Guinness Book of Record for longest developement in any "Final Fantasy" title. The story of "FFXII" sets on the land of Ivalice wherein two powerful nations: Rozaria and Arcadia are at war with each other. In that war, the Kingdom of Dalmasca is caught in between.

Dalmasca is the home of characters like Vaan, Penelo, Basch and Princess Ashe. They are joined by Sky pirates Balthier and Fran and together they are set in a quest to put Ashe back in the throne and stop the war from ever happening within the game.

The game also had a sequel called "Final Fantasy 12: Revenant Wings" for the Nintendo DS in 2007 and has been one of the four prominent games in the Ivalice Alliance universe of "Final Fantasy" game series.
