Choi Siwon Dares Fans: Make 'To the Fore' a Box Office Hit and I'll Go Topless

The 18th Busan International Film Festival - Day 4

(Photo : Chung Sung-Jun/Getty Images) BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA - OCTOBER 06: Siwon of Super Junior arrives for the United Asian Film Night at the Chosun hotel during the 18th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) on October 6, 2013 in Busan, South Korea. The biggest film festival in Asia showcases 299 films from 70 countries and runs from October 3-12.

Choi Siwon can never have too much topless, can he? The Super Junior swooner, who has appeared in nothing but a towel on TV shows, made a rather bold promise to his fans that he will "take his top off" if his latest movie "To the Fore" becomes a box office frontrunner.

During a press conference with Hong Kong director Dante Lam at the Art Science Museum in Singapore, the 29-year-old heartthrob swore to return and go to a seaside where he will treat fans with (perhaps) an unobstructed view of his finely chiseled physique. Choi made the assurance in the wake of a seemingly disappointed crowd who expected to feast their eyes on the toned bodies of the K-Pop idol and his co-stars, Taiwanese hunk Eddie Peng and Chinese actor Shawn Dou, in their film To the Fore.

In the movie, Choi, Peng, and Dou played the characters of three cyclists whose personal struggles may or may not account for their team's advancement to the international racing scene. To achieve the build of real cyclists, the three lead actors underwent tough training, including daily 100-kilometer cycling and gym workout. Throughout the entire production, the cast reportedly covered more than 100,000 kilometers and spanned countries like Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia, and Italy.

With all the intense workout, the actors' resulting physique are definite good news for fans. However, Lam made it clear that he wanted the attention to be on cycling as a sport. According to him, he wanted to depart from the fanfare on the actors' figures as seen in his 2013 movie "Unbeatable."

Despite only minute glimpses on the gorgeous forms of the cycling actors, fans will be pleased to know that Choi and Peng did make sure to look after each other's physical well-being. According to Straits Times, the two hunks shared workout tips and ate protein-rich food to get their ideal bodies--"sleek" for Choi and "bulky" for Peng.

"To the Fore" hits cinemas on August 6 in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore, and on August 7 in Taiwan and the US. According to Choi, he would love to star in the diving movie Lam is considering if Peng and Dou will be in it as well.
