"I don't get the violence revenge thing. That's supposed to be a good example?" Miley Cyrus boldly stated during her interview with Marie Claire magazine. The controversial wild child certainly had no reservation in voicing out her disapproval of Taylor Swift's highly glorified music video "Bad Blood," which shows the pop singer engaging in war with her star-studded "squad" against a "former friend" portrayed by Selena Gomez.

Furthermore, the singer-actress criticized the disparity in treatment between her and Swift. Often landing headlines for her racy acts and images, Cyrus slammed the way she is seen as a bad influence whereas Swift is consistently viewed as a role model despite the music video's violent theme.

"And I'm a bad role model because I'm running around with my titties out? I'm not sure how titties are worse than guns," Yahoo! quoted Cyrus.

In 2014, rumors claimed that Swift's "Bad Blood" referred to Cyrus. It was later reportedly confirmed by Us Weekly that the vengeance song alluded to fellow singer Katy Perry. While the two singers do not exactly move around the same clique, Cyrus and Swift shared some performances when they were younger. In 2009, Swift appeared in a cameo role at "Hannah Montana: The Movie" where the former Disney star played the title role. In the same year, Cyrus shared the Grammy stage with Swift during a performance of the latter's song "Fifteen." And back then, the hit-after-hit singer was over the moon about the child star's already outspoken attitude.

"Miley is pretty much the same person off camera that you see on camera. She is so outgoing. . .  She is such a positive person. She's not reserved. She doesn't hold anything back, which is one of my favorite things about her," US Magazine quoted Swift in 2009.

Indeed, there is no holding back the "Wrecking Ball" singer as she continued to call out against the rampant "sexism, ageism" in showbiz. She even pointed out how the industry's double standard "makes" Kendrick Lamar "look cool" when he sings about LSD while she is branded a "druggie whore."

Despite having her share of popularity even as a child, the The Happy Hippie Foundation founder is not so high about fame. For her, making more money does not make a person happy.

"People in the industry think, I just gotta keep getting more money, and I'm like, what are you getting more money for? I've experienced it all already, and I'm telling you first-hand, it doesn't," the 22-year-old singer shared.
