Miranda Lambert finally calls the FBI. Last week, a lady came forward alleging she hacked into the country singer's email and now has access to over 35,000 of her messages.

A certain "Brenda" claims she had broken into Lambert's personal email and has sold some explosive information to a tabloid, In Touch reported.

"I hacked into her account. There are more than 35,000 emails. I've been going through them," the hacker told the entertainment news site.

Brenda initially claimed she knew insider information about the Lambert- Blake Shelton divorce from people close to the ex-couple, but then soon confessed she had hacked into her mail and gone through thousands of them and sold it to a tabloid, the report added.

Since the FBI takes claims such as hacking very seriously, they are doing an investigation over Brenda's claims. So far, they have uncovered several other crimes the hacker has been convicted over the past years. The news site reported Brenda has been previously charged with burglary, theft, and other scams.

A source close to the singer told the site she has been very careful about sharing personal information and protecting her privacy.

The country couple Lambert and Shelton made their divorce official last July 20.

Meanwhile, Lambert is turning to another love for solace amid her break-up. The singer has been known to love horses among other animals.

In an Instagram post, Lambert put on her riding gear all set for some quality time with Sophie, her horse.

She wrote, "Sophie hugs. Nothin' better!"

Aside from horses, Lambert also loves dogs, E! News reported. After rescuing a few troubled dogs she and her mom established the "MuttNation Foundation" an animal shelter ranch with the hopes of finding decent homes for homeless, suffering pets.

"Nothing brings me more joy than seeing a person adopt a shelter dog," Lambert told Rolling Stone in an interview.

She added that it brings so much joy to be able to match a dog with a new owner.
