"Doctor Strange" has been predicted to be the "game-changer" in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After loads of technology, Sorcerer Supreme Stephen Strange will bring magic.

Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe steps out of Earth and outside the laws of science, and Doctor Strange will be the catalyst of that. In the past movies, the "Science Brothers" Tony Stark and Bruce Banner have acted as the sages and counted on to figure everything out.

In "Avengers: Age of Ultron," they showed a vulnerable side to their knowledge and control with Bruce Banner's panic attacks and Tony Stark inadvertently creating Ultron. Now that the science guys are not in control, enter Doctor Strange, the sorcerer.

What is the significance of Dr. Strange in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Plot rumors and theories have cropped up and since Phase 3 is one big build-up to "Avengers: Infinity War," the stories will focus on the six Infinity Stone. A theory from Movie Pilot states that Stephen Strange has one:

"One of the more interesting theories out there is around two of Doctor Strange's most prized possessions, the Eye and Orb of Agamotto," the theory states. "The MCU has already started a bit of a tradition with putting Infinity Stones inside other Marvel artifacts - like the Cosmic Cube, or Tesseract, being the carrier of the Space Stone. I wouldn't be surprised if either the Eye of Agamotto, with its ability to see past events and trap people in suspended animation, might prove to contain the Time Stone."

The theory seems plausible in the concentrated Marvel Cinematic Universe. Every movie must connect so every item of power must have significance on the storyline, not just of the movie but the overriding story arc. Speaking of story arc, we will see all the movies getting more intertwined in this Phase, like Ant Man and Doctor Strange.

In an interview with Screen Rant, Evangeline Lilly confirmed that she's signed on for multiple movies. When asked about what she'll be doing next, she replied: "No, I'm still in the dark and I'm excited to find out. I'm with the fans, going, 'C'mon, tell me what's going on!' I do hope that I get to keep going - punfully intended - because I had such a great time working on this movie."

A theory on Nerd Caliber stated that Hope's mom, Janet Van Dyne aka the original Wasp is trapped in the "quantum realm" and Hope may try to rescue her-using an Infinity Stone. Will that be the one in Doctor Strange's possession?

This would mean the Wasp could make a debut appearance in the movie. This is purely speculation at this point, but at this point, anything can happen.
