Good news gaming fans as new updates for "Kingdom Hearts 3" have been revealed regarding a new Disney world added to the game and King Mickey crossing over "Disney Infinity 3.0."

According to Kotaku, Square Enix has finally confirmed a new Disney world in "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the form of the 2014 animated movie "Big Hero 6," during 2015 D23 Expo event in Anaheim, Cal. The website was also able to post an image of Sora riding at the back of Baymax fighting what appears to be heartless version of the superhero robot itself.

Gamerant further adds that the "Big Hero 6" storyline is set after the film and the "heartless Baymax" is actually the first Baymax that was presumably trapped into another dimension and has somehow been corrupted by darkness. San Fantokyo will be the setting for the "Big Hero 6" world and players may expect several characters from the film such as Hiro Hamada, Fred, GoGo Tamago, Honey Lemon and Wasabi.

Walt Disney Animation Studios producer Roy Conli also made several comments about the similarities between "Kingdom Hearts" and "Big Hero 6," such as the importance of friendships and the fight between light and darkness.

Square Enix has already introduced "Hercules" and "Tangled" to the game, making "Big Hero 6" the third world to be incorporated within the game. Several other Disney themed worlds are also rumored in the game such as "Frozen," "Wreck-it Ralph," "Brave" etc. as well returning classic worlds like "Aladdin" and "The Lion King."

It is also noted that source material for the Disney Animated film came from Marvel comics, which leads to the question; Will Marvel characters appear in "Kingdom Hearts 3"?

Game co-director Tai Yasue was opened to the idea that both Marvel and Star Wars franchises will be added to the game; however, previous reports suggest that several worlds will likely be excluded and that both franchises are no exception since they operate in a different perspective.

A writer from NSEAVOICE.com wrote that the best way to integrate Marvel and Star Wars worlds into "Kingdom Hearts 3" is to have a seperate side quests that has nothing to do with the main plot of the game, and completing those objectives will grant Sora and the gang some weapons from both franchises.

In other news, Gamezone reports that "Disney Infinity 3.0" will feature a Keyblade item within the game, along with other contents from the "Kingdom Hearts" series.

AnimeNewsNetwork further added that Disney also gave their attendees an exclusive "Disney Infinity 3.0" exclusive Power Disc featuring King Mickey, which is only limited to 5,000 copies during the D23 Expo.

So far, no release date for "Kingdom Hearts 3" has been announced, but Square Enix will be attending another D23 Expo in Japan on November and hopefully fans will get see more surprises from them very soon.
