While fans rave about the big screen remake of the hit 90's TV series "Baywatch," one of its original cast members thinks it's a bad idea.

Model-actress Pamela Anderson who once played a major role in the TV version of "Baywatch" as lifeguard C.J. Parker. In an interview with TMZ, Anderson stated that "No one appreciates the remakes" referring to the confirmed plans of doing a movie version of the old TV show.

"Baywatch" is one of the TV shows that helped shoot Anderson to fame. She played her role opposite other stars like David Hasselhoff.

Sources say the remake may not feature any of the 90's stars as Anderson also confirmed with TMZ that nobody has contacted her to be a part of the reboot.

But whether she'll be a part of it or not, the actress believes that when "Baywatch" took TV screens in the 90's it was a much "simpler" and "sweeter" era that helped make it a hit, and the same phenomenon may not exactly be the case in this day and age as a film, she told the entertainment site.

However, earlier reports may have indicated that the movie remake will be more about the beach action rather than female stars in swimsuits, Daily Mail reported.

Over the past weeks, lead star Dwayne Johnson and co-star Zac Efron, both confirmed to be in the movie, have expressed their excitement over social media for "Baywatch" movie saying it will be "badass."

On Friday, while at the Disney D23 Expo, Johnson talked about the film saying, "We want to make a big movie - a fun beach movie," the news site reported.

He also hinted that agents of some of the most gorgeous current models and actresses have expressed their desire to be a part of "Baywatch" movie as one of the female lifeguards, the report added.
