It looks like new updates for "Fallout 4" have been revealed regarding its official plot details and a Pip-Boy Edition giveaway promo from a retailing website.

Gamerant reports that Bethesda is still keeping the plot details of "Fallout 4" to the public since its official announcement a few months back. Athough Bethesda did a great job of presenting "Fallout 4" for its new gameplay features, combat systems, upgrades and crafting, not to mention an official launch date for the game in November for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms, its storyline is still a big mystery.

Bethesda did not waste any time presenting new updates for "Fallout 4" during gaming events such as E3 2015 and Gamescom while they have intentionally failed to mention the plot of the whole game itself as it is the only missing piece in the puzzle.

During a recent interview with IGN, Bethesda's VP of marketing and PR Pete Hines shared his insight as to why they still kept "Fallout 4's" plot details as secret.

"I would be stunned if we said anything else about the story ever again prior to launch. We're going to let everybody experience that in the game as much as possible," Hines told IGN. "But there are certain trade-offs you have to make to build some amount awareness to what the game is offering, so you're willing to make some sacrifices."

In Hines statement, Bethesda wanted gamers to discover "Fallout 4's" plot for themselves when they play the entire game, as the company will have to "dribble out" a lot of details about its gameplay changes. Plus, Gamerant pointed out that if Bethesda did not explain all of the new features in "Fallout 4" as they will lose interest and are less inclined to pay attention to its plot details.

PC Gamer further adds that the unusual move that Bethesda in launching "Fallout 4" stemmed from game director Todd Howard who Hines commented that he does not like showing off his games becauseit takes a lot of time away from making the game in future demos or presentations.

In other news, Gamespot reports that retailing website ThinkGeek has launched a giveaway promo "Fallout 4." The promo is called "Countdown to Fallout 4 Giveaway" as the retailing website will hand over several "Fallout 4" related items such as the Vault Boy bobbleheads, shirts, official licensed Steel Series peripherals and messenger bags.

But the biggest prize of them all is that promo will give away six "Fallout 4" Pip-Boy Editions. The promos began last week and one lucky winner already had his Pip-Boy Edition for the platform of his choosing.

Bidness ETC also adds that Bethesda will launch a "Fallout themed" hardcover journal and is currently listed in Amazon.com as pre-order package along with official game in November.

"Fallout 4" will be release on Nov. 10, 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
