David Beckham and his family are now in Los Angeles spending their summer holidays. The retired footballer, who is known to love his family more than anything in the world, shared some quality time bonding with his oldest son, Brooklyn, 16. The father-son duo went for a hike in the city.

The 40-year-old shared a photograph of the bonding session with Brooklyn on Instagram Tuesday.

"Something tells me I love this not so little man so much ...... Growing up fast into a perfect gentleman and hiking buddy.... I love you big boy," he captioned the picture with a heart emoticon. In the snap, the father of four wears a baseball cap and vest, and plants a kiss on the teen's forehead, while the boy smiles for the camera, Hello reported.

The black and white picture shows mountains and trees in the background. Brooklyn is seen in a T-shirt with his favorite bandana tied on his head. He also sports his trademark quiff just like his dad.

Meanwhile, the teenager also took to the photo sharing app and posted the same picture with the caption: "Like father like son @davidbeckham." While Brooklyn's picture has garnered 276k likes till the time of writing this story, his dad's has got 375k likes.

The senior Beckham has a 10.7 million strong fan-following, while his son has already got 3.9 million followers on Instagram. Brooklyn is a big fan of social media, and keeps fans regularly updated with his activities on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn and his little sister Harper, 4, bonded over a pizza making session on Sunday. "Making pizza with my little sister," the teenager wrote on Instagram. He shared a black and white picture of him and Harper sitting at a table covered with pizza toppings and dough.

The teen dotes over his little sister and brothers. He went for a hike with Harper earlier this month, which he accounted on Instagram. Brooklyn also took his two younger brothers Romeo and Cruz to the Nickeldeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards in July. All the three posed together on the red carpet and met members of the US women's football team.
