Official Rockstar Games website noted that this update "will bring with it some new features for the Rockstar Editor that will be available for all three platforms including PC, along with some exciting new gameplay for GTA Online Freemode that we'll be sharing more about in the coming weeks."

Some of the features that will be debuted include Ambient Audio and Sound Effects Library, Snapmatic Integration, Director Mode Updates, Copy and Paste Marker Properties and brand new fonts.

Take-Two Interactive Software, the mother company that owns Rockstar Games, has mentioned that "GTA 5" has reached another milestone of having more than 54 million copies sold worldwide. This has cemented the franchise as one of the best-selling video games of all time with over 220 million copies shipped around the world.

Grand Theft Auto is now at the third place in the all-time bestsellers category, behind Mario and Pokemon franchise that occupy the top and second spot respectively.

Despite massive success, Take-Two has kept its silence on the issue of the delay of release of "GTA 5" DLC.

"In terms of DLC for GTA V, we really don't have anything to say about that today," Take-Two President Karl Slatoff said during the recent earnings call of the organization.

Any announcements within the GTA franchise have always come from Rockstar Games, and Take-Two would like to keep it that way.

It can be remembered that GTA 4 received two post release expansions such as "The Lost and the Damned", and "The Ballad of Gay Tony". "GTA 5" developers have promised fans that substantial additions in 2014 and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas will be introduced by way of a GTA 5 story DLC.
