OnePlus telecommunications is battling against tech giants Apple and Samsung in coming up with the best, top ranked handsets, presenting OnePlus Two against iPhone 6.

iPhone 6 is considered one of the top-ranked handsets released within the past year. However, another new company, OnePlus, seems to compete with the popular multinational tech company.

OnePlus was well known because of the company's invite system that allowed every interested and able individual to avail of their newly released handset, OnePlus One. Reports say that the budding telecommunications company looks to be embracing the likes of Samsung and Apple when it comes to their new phone, OnePlus Two.

iPhone 6, together with the iPhone 6 plus, has been available online as well as in Apple stores since its release on September last year. The phone was offered in variants of 16-, 64- and 128GB memory, costing £539, £619 and £699 respectively.

OnePlus Two was introduced last July, with a scheduled release date of Aug. 11. But unlike other handsets, consumers cannot walk into a gadget store and buy the device as OnePlus employs a specially designed invite system which makes their handset only available to the individuals who received an invite, PC Advisor reported.

The same process was used with the launching of OnePlus Two handset's predecessor, except for one simple variation -fans are now able to reserve an invite to be able to purchase the handset. While this seems a little over-the-top, the company's stand is to manage their stock for worldwide consumption, Digital Trends reported.

OnePlus Two's best eye-catching specifications include a variety of options when it comes to storage, as well as price. Consumers can choose to buy either 16- or 64GB of storage, which costs £239 or £289 respectively. Although it is important to note that with the 16GB variant, you'll also miss out on 1GB of internal memory as there's 4GB RAM in the 64GB handset.
