Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will come with a long-lasting battery life feature. The up and coming phablet from Samsung will run on a fixed battery setup, which has been reported to look smaller with 3,000 mAh.

Everyone who owns a modern gadget knows that battery life is crucial for maximized usage, especially for handsets which consume a large amount of battery life with activities like browsing, media playback, and phone conversation.

Galaxy Note 5 manufacturer has addressed this problem by coming up with a special battery usage scheme. Several experiments were made to test its battery life capacity and the conclusions suggested varying outcomes.

When Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is on standby mode, it has been reported that the Galaxy Note 5 could last for up to 72 hours or 3 days' worth of use, which is actually not that bad, Wired reported.

Meanwhile, reports by GSM Arena revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 handset provides an approximately 28 hours of battery consumption when utilized for activities like phone conversations.

Galaxy Note 5 phablet is reported to only 10 hours of life if used in browsing the web. When it comes to media playback, the handset can usually stand for up to 13 hours.

However, the Galaxy Note 5 handset's basic functions like phone calls, web browsing, and video playback, when allotted usage for only an hour a day, would significantly lengthen its battery life to approximately 85 hours.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 standby performance is credited to the Exynos 7420 processor, even though the battery-life span of the phablet is five hours less than its predecessor, Galaxy Note 4, after its operating system was updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Galaxy Note 5 is partly dependent on how the phablet would respond to its OS processor, as users have already seen Samsung Galaxy Note 4's performance with the Android 5.0. Speculations say that Galaxy Note 5 might do better with the Android 5.1 OS.
