"Mortal Kombat X" fans are receiving additional fighters to its list with the long-time rumored Kombat Pack 2. Ed Boon, "Mortal Kombat X" creative director, has been repeatedly teasing the fans through Twitter posts regarding the upcoming kombatants.

"The Terminator" is the newest rumor on the fierce combat, Event Hubs reported. Previous reports have established that the iconic character originating from the movie of the same name is already being listed to fight in the "WWE 2K16" ring. Boon recently tweeted to a fan who teasingly said that Arnie wishes to join the party.

"Mortal Kombat X" director, in his reply, confirmed that Nether Realm was in fact planning on adding the action character to the popular game. However, he apparently never made it out the drawing board and unfortunately, Boon did not explain why "The Terminator" failed to be included in the game's roster of the DLC characters.

Fans now turn to the rumored "Kombat Pack 2" for the time-travelling hero to be incorporated in the game, since several kombatants lined up in "Kombat Pack 1" also included other iconic movie characters such as the "Predator" and "Jason Voorhees."

"Kombat Pack 2" will also be coming with other Kombatans. The three extra characters who are rumored to make it to the list are "Rain," "Sindel," and "Baraka."

"Mortal Kombat X" speculations reportedly started when one modder somehow found a way to play as the fighters mentioned above. This happened right when "Mortal Kombat X" was first released. According to BGR reports, the aforementioned characters' fighting techniques are actually installed in the game files, which then led to the belief that they are going to be joining the roster in the near future.

Other reports say that Nether Realm will likely include the trio "Fujin," "Kabal Bo,' and "Rai Cho," instead.

Boon then tweeted, "Whichever kombatants make it to second pack of the well-loved game, the whole world's coming together now."
