The Phoenix Suns have reportedly no plans to deal disgruntled forward Markieff Morris, who could after all be difficult to trade having clashed with so many last season while racking up 15 technical fouls.

The Suns are also not in the position to let go of Morris after failing to acquire LaMarcus Aldridge's services, according to Yahoo Sports.

In fact, Suns general manager Ryan McDonough have stated that Morris will be their starting power forward "moving forward."

Markieff, who was enraged by the trade of his twin brother Marcus to the Detroit Pistons, had announced that he intends to show up for training camp at US Airways Center, it being his contractual obligation, but is not going to part of the Suns roster.

Morris incidentally could not be found in the Suns unofficial minicamp.

Teammates Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight, Devin Booker, Archie Goodwin, Alex Len, Jon Leuer, Ronnie Price, P.J. Tucker, T.J. Warren and Sonny Weems have all been working out at the summer camp since Monday.

Fox Sports reported that it would be ideal for Knight, the team's starting point guard,  to working with their starting power forward on September. However, Morris is not expected to report soon, if at all.

The ball is not on Morris' court as far as his situation with the Suns is concerned.

Morris still has four years left on his Suns deal worth $32 million and could be fined by the NBA if he insists on an outright trade demand.

He also won't be paid the commensurate amount of time he doesn't show up for camp and/or games.

There are still four weeks until the September 28 deadline for Morris to report to the Suns training camp and the team can still hope that is enough time for the tension to simmer down and for the forward to change his mind.
