As a big surprise to the last TV season, and as one of the most accomplished freshman series, Empire Season 2 can do a lot of new things without any fear that the viewers will leave it behind. However, a lot of soapy drama is on the cards as the star Terrence Howard is expected to have a limited role this season, as the history of his domestic abuse and his personal life is casting a shadow on his career.

If you went through season 1, you must have seen the arrest in the finale, and he will now be spending most of the part of season 2 behind the jail bars. According to a source from page six, the writers of the show are playing a two-fold game. They have got Terrence Howard locked up, and so he will have limited scenes in Empire Season 2, and they are also bringing in a lot of cameos and guest stars so that many average viewers of the show won't be able to realize it with so many things going on.

You must have heard about Terence Howard on the internet as he is facing an ugly lawsuit filed by his ex-wife, who says that Terence kicked her, forced her against a wall and strangled her while they are at a trip in Cost Rica back in 2013. It was the same year when the couple got divorced. She also had previously filled different restraining orders against Terence Howard as he was reported to have injured her physically and threatened her along with other acts of violence.

So with Lucious locked up, what will the show do with Ludacris and Chris Rock is only a question of time. One thing is for sure that they are going to bring in a lot of guest stars to shape things up in the limited presence of Terence Howard.
