Motorola has been all sorts of releasing the latest of their flagship phones, but now, rumors online speculates that the Droid Turbo has finally taken by its successor - the Motorola Droid Turbo 2.

According to Phandroid, the Droid Turbo 2, also known as Bounce, has a 5.43-inch 2K shatterproof display and is equipped with a wireless charging feature with a 3,760mAH battery. The name "Bounce" was also derived from what was assumed as its codename during its developmental stage. Apparently, the Droid Turbo 2 will not carry the same name, as Motorola will release the device under the name Motorola Moto X Force. The same name will be carried during its launch in the U.S.

Motorola's plans to rebrand their devices have been a fast progress taking their device's name from a codename to its eventual market name. In another post by Phandroid, a more detailed specs of the Droid Turbo 2, also known as Bounce or Motorola Moto X Force, was featured and this includes the QHD ShatterProof Display, a 21MP/5MP cameras, a Snapdragon 810 processor, 32GB/64GB internal storage (depending on which you choose) and a  3GB Random Access Memory. Reviews about the phone compared it mostly to the X Play series without any significant changes, especially at the back portion of the phone.

The Droid Turbo 2 did not possess the normal placement of speaker at the bottom part. Instead, some sorts of sensor buttons were strategically placed in exchange of the said speaker. Of course, the specs were all taken from the rendered image that has been circulating the net, and any confirmation will have to be made by Motorola or wait until its launch date.

In a report by the Master Herald, the Droid Turbo 2 is set to launch by October, however they indicated that Tech times conclude otherwise and said the date of release is December. Should it push through with its supposed October launch, this will be a year after its predecessor; the Motorola Droid Turbo was launched and introduced to the market.
