The first day of the 40th Annual Toronto International Film Fest (TIFF) was a success. At least 400 films will be introduced at the film fest in the next 11 days of screening, and here are some of the films you must watch out for in theaters:

"Demolition"

The first film introduced to public during TIFF was the film created by French-Canadian director Jean-Marc Vallee entitled "Demolition." The tragicomedy film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Cooper, Naomi Watts, and Judah Lewis. The plot of the movie covers the story of a widower whose life has changed after his wife died in a car accident. Vallee praised Gyllenhaal's performance throughout their filming stage.

"There's nothing he hasn't done or tried. You'll see him (Gyllenhaal) dance, you'll see him sing - he went everywhere, surprising me all the time," he said in a post. Vallee's "Demolition" film will serve as his comeback movie after six years of break from the movie industry. The film will be released on April 8, 2016, in the United States.

"Where to Invade Next"

Another film that made its way to the film festival world premiere on its first day was Director Michael Moore's "Where to Invade Next." This documentary film is politically fueled and provocative and has an angry take at America's invading countries. It will be premiered on October 2, 2015, in the United States.

"I Saw the Light"

Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston will be premiering their movie at the TIFF event on September 11 under the direction of Marc Abraham.

"London Fields"

The film is directed by Matthew Cullen, and it will make its way to world premiere on Friday, September 18, at the TIFF. The cast of the movie includes Amber Heard, Theo James, Billy Bob Thorton, and Johnny Depp.
