In recent years, the private commercial aerospace company SpaceX has been working on the design for its crewed Dragon spacecraft, Now, the company is unveiling the Crew Dragon space probe's final design in a pair of YouTube videos. The spacecraft features four relatively large windows that will allow the crew to see outside the Dragon V2 from the comfort of their seats. The instrument panels will displays real-time data report of the status of various on-board systems and of the capsule's progress.

The space capsule is designed to be fully autonomous but also allows the crew to set environmental controls however they like. SpaceX mission control will be able to handle everything remotely in a similar way they do for the cargo missions. However, astronauts on board will have the possibility at any time to take control of the craft.

Despite a recent failure of the Falcon 9 rocket, SpaceX plans to be able to start carrying humans to the International Space Station (ISS) sometime in the 2017, according to the online publication Geek.com

The crewed Dragon spacecraft will feature safety systems such as the emergency escape system, recently tested on the ground, as reported by the online website Space.com. In the event something is going wrong, this safety system will allow blasting the crewed Dragon spacecraft clear of the Falcon 9 launch.

The SpaceX's engineers did not forget the interior aesthetics of the capsule. From a purely aesthetic perspective, the Crew Dragon spacecraft's interior looks stylish and ergonomic, with a clean design and a futuristic style. The Crew Dragon is the spacecraft with the most science-fiction look from all the space ships that has actually existed thus far.
