In an infographic made by PBS, it highlighted that Jordan made $100 million in sneaker sales compared to the $94 million he earned in his entire NBA career as a professional basketball player.

The Nike Air Jordans is known as one of the most iconic products in the world and with its unbelievable sales you can expect it to increase in value and relevance in the coming years.

The infographic also showed that sneaker sales in America reached $34 billion from June 2014 to June 2015. Interestingly, 99% of sold in the U.S. in 2014 were imported from other countries specifically China (237.1 million pairs) and Vietnam (157.1 million pairs).

The league's biggest star, LeBron James, had a remarkable year as well $340 million in signature sneakers sales. This makes him the top shoe salesman in U.S. pro basketball. If you want to avail of a pair of customizable LeBron XII (glow-in-the-dark), you have to pay $320 a pair.

Another fun fact is about shoe collector Jordan Michael Geller who holds the Guinness World Record for the Most Number of Sneakers owned with 2,388 pairs!

Newly-crowned NBA Champion, Stephen Curry, also made it to the list specifically for the 20% tax levied on his Under Armor basketball shoes that were imported from China.

And in case you don't know, there's a 1 Shoe Policy that's being implemented to avoid sneaker thievery. This means that the customer should return one shoe before he can try on the other one.
