In its effort in bringing innovative wearable technology across the globe, Google hires engineers and consumer electronics experts from Amazon's Lab126 namely Amir Frenkel, Tina Chen and Dima Svetlov, including Max Ratner from Apple. This move is intended to devise and develop its new wearable tech initiative.

According to the report of TechWeekEurope, these three ex-Amazon employees are software engineers, developers and programmers who were also the responsible for most of the hardware projects and facilities of the said retailing firm.

Initially, Project Aura has already started in June. And now that the tech giant is determined and committed with the reinforcement of its Google computer eyeglasses, it intends to speed up research and development particularly in bringing the world with similar wearable technology.

Engadget reports that the Project Aura team remains within Google's control and influence - collaboratively working on other wearable technologies. And since Project Aura is being described as "Google Glass and Beyond", talks have made major rounds over the web that it is now up and working on the next generation pair of augmented reality specs.

However, various reports reminded the reading public that Project Aura is different from Project Ara, which is the company's modular smartphone initiative. Likewise, it has been noted that many have become interested in taking a quick peek into the professional profiles of the said engineers and developers who are now the newest members of the team.

As of this writing, reports also showed that Google still has declined to confirm or make necessary comments about this.
