The note-taking app Keep on iOS is designed to be the one-stop shop for pulling in the users' thoughts from around the Web and will allow the user to arrange notes into a sticky-note-like interface same as the Android and web versions of the app. Those notes are synced into the user's Google account for easy accessibility across devices and show up as a series of Post-it-esque colored rectangles that carry various colors with audio, checklists, and images.

The free app will offer more than new Notes app of Apple even though it is not fully featured like competitors Microsoft OneNote and Evernote that offer iOS users the full versions.

PC Magazine reports that users can organize notes by color or type such as images, text, or audio notes. They can share notes with other people that collaborates on the checklist, for example, on a single item in a real time just like deleting items from a grocery list. Adding labels to notes according to categories can also be done. Automatically transcribed are the recorded voice memos.

Reminders can be attached to the notes based on time and specific location at which the user wants to receive them. This is similar to Microsoft's Cortana virtual assistant which is available on Android and Windows 10 and to Apple's Reminders app on iOS.

Search is one of the best features of Keep. Notes can be searched by using tags, color, or a remainder attached to it. Also text of transcribed audio notes and within images embedded in the notes can be searched.
