According to NASA, there will also be a brief session of question-and-answer to take place during the event by phone, with the reporters on sight. The members of the public may also ask questions using #AskNASA.

What NASA publicly detailed regarding the exploration of Mars so far: It is not the first time that NASA discovered a hint of water on Mars. The Mars Curiosity recently took pictures of the planet's surface that made scientists believe that at one point in history, there may have been rivers and oceans but eventually evaporated due to its gravity and very thin atmosphere. Four decades ago, it was discovered that Mars has polar ice caps that hold its remaining water beneath the surface. In 2013, Mars Rover Curiosity discovered 2 percent in every cubic foot of Martian soil.

The press conference will take place on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. EST. It will be broadcast on the NASA Television and on NASA's website. It can also be watched via live streaming, http://www.nasa.gov/nasatv.

A big fuss has been going on as to what will be announced and detailed on Monday regarding the exploration of Mars. People even start to speculate and hope that NASA's announcement is not only another discovery of water on Mars but also the possibility of life on Mars.
