The Ellen DeGeneres Show marked its 2,000th episode on Thursday with top celebrities Jennifer Aniston and Justin Timberlake as surprise guests.

According to Entertainment Weekly, DeGeneres was surprised when Aniston, 46, appeared on stage with a welcome mat -  the same gift that she gave to DeGeneres when she became the show's fist ever guest.

Timberlake, 34, was the show's second ever guest.

"I think it's time to bring sexy back," Aniston said as she introduced Timberlake.

Both stars kept it secret from DeGeneres that they would be the guests for the show's 2,000th episode. Aniston and Timberlake shared a toast of Tequila with DeGeneres.

"I thought for sure you knew or you'd find out," said Timberlake to the 57-year old talk show host.

Timberlake also challenged DeGeneres to choose between him and Aniston after DeGeneres claimed that both stars are her "favorite people."

"We have a lot of similarities. We're both fun-loving women," she noted about Aniston.

DeGeneres also expressed her appreciation to supporters who made the show reach its 2,000th episode milestone.

"I'll tell you something, if someone had told me I was gonna make 2,000 shows, first of all, I would've asked for a lot more money," DeGeneres jokingly said. "I would have said, 'You're crazy, 2,000 is a lot'."

Aside from Timberlake and Aniston's unexpected presence, DeGeneres was also surprised by an announcement from Warner Bros. Television Group President and CCO Peter Roth.

According to Pop Sugar, Roth announced during the show that the studio's Stage One has been dedicated to The Ellen DeGeneres Show and will be named as the Ellen Stage.

In the 90-year of Warner Bros.' history, it is only the fourth time that a stage is being renamed in a person's honor.
