Justin Bieber may have recently admitted that he did not attend the Victoria Secret's fashion show this year despite being good friends with Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, who were gracing the runway, because "Selena was doing it this year."

Despite being separated for almost a year now, it seems that Sorry singer Justin Bieber cannot stand to be in the same place with his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

During a radio interview with 1065's Kyle and Jackie O, the DJs told him about the show. Things became clear when Bieber responded "It sounds like my type of place to be but I think Selena was doing it this year."

An Hollywood Life insider claims that the What Do You Mean singer texted his ex-lover and wished her good luck before she hits the stage with a number of Victoria Secret's angels.

"Justin wanted to show his support for Selena so he sent her text saying that she will always be his angel," the insider reportedly told the publication.

Earlier this week, the hitmaker candidly opened up about his naivety and comeback including his relationship with Good For You singer Selena Gomez.

"I put so much of myself on the line with her, because I was so distant with everyone else," he said. "So it's like, you have the world who's loving you but it's not like they know my heart - they don't know me. So when I found that love I was just like, 'Woah, I want to hold on to this'. And I just put everything into it and in reality there's just no holding back. You're just like, 'This love feels so good'."

"When it was hard, I was just like, 'I want to stick this out'. So it was on again, off again, on again, off again. We were working out how to be in a relationship, how to be ourselves, who we were, in the middle of having people judge our relationship through the media. I think that really messed my head up too. Because then, it's like trust and all this other stuff that starts messing with your mind. You're on the road. And there are beautiful women on the road. And you're just getting yourself into trouble," he said.

Meanwhile, interestingly, just days after Bieber hinted at a possibility that he might get back with Gomez, she dismissed rumors that she is exclusively dating Gigi Hadid's close friend Samuel Krost. She did admit she is dating a little but clarified that does not mean she is no longer single.

Beiber and Gomes have had an on/off affair since November 2012. Their final breakup was last December 2014.
