Android Marshmallow to Rollout for Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Note 5, S5, And S4 in December?

There are rumors that Samsung may release the Android Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 5 by December.

Samsung is known to release Android upgrades in the month of December. So many tech experts believe that Android Marshmallow may also be released in December this year.

According to rumors, devices such as Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 5 are set to get the update around the same date. It is further rumored that Samsung Galaxy S6 will be the first handset to receive the Android Marshmallow update.

Other Samsung devices which are expected to receive this update are Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy A8, Samsung Galaxy Alpha, Samsung Galaxy Edge, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, Samsung Galaxy A7, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

Samsung is said to be in the testing phase of the latest Android Marshmallow update for many of its high end devices. In addition with Nexus devices, smartphones like Moto X 3rd gen and LG G4 are also running on this firmware, according to International Business Times.

However, Samsung is yet to announce the official schedule for the roll out of Android Marshmallow for its devices, according to Phone Arena.

Android Marshmallow will bring a lot of changes and improvements in the user experience of the devices. It will correct the persisting issue of Stage Fright 2.0 vulnerability along with device over heating issue. It will also increase the battery capacity of the device drastically. It will further add new icons and animations in the devices' menu.

Devices are expected to become faster and work more efficiently post this upgrade. Till now, no issues have been reported from the users who using this version of the software.
